Frequently Asked Questions

The Answers You Need

My pet has a special diet. Can their needs be accommodated?

Yes.  We ask that you bring the food they eat with them for the stay.  This eliminates any upset stomachs and confusion on what they should be eating.

What do you supply for overnight boarding?

We provide the love an attention while you are away.  We also have kennels, dog beds and toys for them to use while in our care.  If they prefer their own kennel, bed or toys, you are welcome to bring them along.
Some dogs are finicky eaters and prefer their own bowls.  Otherwise, we do have extras, just in case.

How can I check on my pet during their stay?

We will send text messages and photos to you during their stay. You are welcome to contact me by phone or text to request any information on how they are doing.

What form of payment to you accept?

We are able to accept payments through Zelle (6123875937), PayPal (@BedAndBiscuitsUN) and Venmo (@BedAndBiscuitsUN).  This allows you the ability to use any credit or debit card you prefer. See Payment page for QR codes
Invoices are provided prior to the stay and payment in full is required to hold your space.

Cancellation Policy

A full refund is available if canceled by 12:00 pm CST two days before the service begins. If canceled later than 12:00 pm CST two days before the stay begins, a 50% refund is available for the first 7 canceled calendar days from the cancellation request date.  A 100%  refund is available for any additional days.  All refunds are subject to a 3% service fee

How many dogs to you sit at a time

We will sit 3 additional dogs in our home besides our own.  There may be an occasion where a stay may overlap for a day.

My dog marks.  Is that a problem?

Not at all.  We understand this is a normal behavior for dogs.  If this is something your dog does, we provide belly bands for your little guy during his stay.

Do you take puppies?

We love puppies.  Please keep in mind that I do work away from the home during the week.  This schedule may not work for potty training a puppy.

How do I know your dogs will get along with mine?

Every new guest that stays with us is required to do a meet and greet before the confirmation of booking.  This allows the dogs to get to know each other and find out if their temperaments are agreeable. It also allows you and I to ask more detailed questions about their personalities and our home.

What if my pet is on medication or has special needs?

We are experienced with providing oral medication and eye drops.
We have experience with senior, blind, and dogs with little or no teeth.  Let us know what your needs are and we can discuss in detail.

Are you at home with them all day?

I do work away from the home Monday-Friday with a standard work schedule.  However, if your pup does need potty breaks, my office is close enough for me to return during lunch breaks.

Can I drop off early in the morning and pick up later at night?

Absolutely. Please keep in mind our fees are based upon a 24 hour schedule.

If you drop off at 8:00 am on Monday and pick up at 8:00 pm on Tuesday, we would make  cost adjustment of approx $2.00/hour past the 24 hour period.  This would be discussed on a case by case need.
